During long Pacific NW winters, I love to paint bright flowers. They remind me that spring and summer are in the horizon. This piece was created layering collage onto a gallery wrapped canvas and adding texture with molding paste. Many layers of paint and several washes later, some oil pastel details were added. Lastly, the piece was varnished and is ready to find a home.
