This piece started with leftover paint from another painting and quickly led me to my Colorado days.

This image could be anywhere, on any reservoir, in eastern Colorado. The area is drier and with sparse vegetation and dry reeds. If you are driving east to west, the Rockies loom large in the distance.

Lots of memories of my drives across the state when I lived there and a labor of love.

The painting is substantial - 20" x 20" x1.5" gallery wrapped canvas and ready to hang. Painting extends on the sides, so no frame required.
