From original mixed media work on 9" x 12" canvas board. This painting was inspired by Paris Fashion week and the name is right off the perfume my mother wore in the 50's, Evening in Paris. She only wore when she and my dad were going out in their finest dress clothes to dine and dance in cabarets. She was so fashionable, that is fitting this painting ended up like it did. There is a semi-abstract representation of the Louvre pyramid, the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and the Paris cobblestones.
