Winters are tough in the Pacific Northwest, so I usually paint flowers in full bloom this time of year. Created as part of my Flowers in Winter series this mixed media rose with its turquoise background, markings and muted colors is perfect for a bedroom, home office or bathroom. I can see this print, with its companion pieces – Flowers in Winter #1 & #2, as an appealing triptych. It will also work with Flowers in Winter #2 - Tulip as a duo. Highly textured to add interest and depth.
