Print from mixed media – acrylic, pencil and pastels – 6” x 6” x 1.5” work, from an original photograph. I took this photo of a giant sunflower during a walk in Kelowna, British Columbia. The sky was a soft blue with some thin clouds and the flower stood brilliantly against it. It made me so happy, I had to not only photograph it, but couldn’t wait to paint it.
