I created this piece on September 18, 2020. The day Ruth Bader Ginsburg died. I remember feeling profoundly sad, as did my daughter's and granddaughters. My daughter-in-law was specially fond of RBG, so the original piece graces her wall. I used anything I had on hand: sequins, one of my mom's old doilies, which I cut, bits of collage papers, washi tape with images of crows, watercolors, Stabilo watercolor pencils and ink. I will never forget all she did on behalf of equality, fairness and justice.
