Mixed Media (Collage, acrylic, ink, watercolor pencil and oil pastels) original on gallery-wrapped canvas. I started this painting shortly after the deaths of Briona Taylor and George Floyd. I really had no plan to end up with her as she is, but she just poured out me and I'm very happy she did. There is some hidden symbolism in the placing of and images on the collage paper. However, beauty, like art is in the eye of the beholder and open to one's own interpretation. This is one of my favorite pieces from 2020.
