In my work, art imitates life. This acrylic painting on canvas was painted the first day of the assault on Ukraine by Russia. Originally, it was all black and gray, but at the last minute, I decided to add a small amount of yellow, both to represent hope and also the yellow of sunflowers, the Ukraine national flower and the yellow on the Ukrainian flag,
